Thai Smile House is the second restaurant opened under the same name, now beside the Warrina Cinemas. Our first is in Kalynda Chase, Bohle Plains. Enjoy.

Story

Our Thai Smile restaurants are all about relaxed settings with quality food at a reasonable price. With a full range from Entre', Mains, Desserts, Movie tickets, and Alcoholic, and non alcoholic drinks available, we aim to offer a memorable dining experience that will have you as a regular patron within the restaurant. We look forward to serving you our delicious food.

This is the most authentic Thai restaurant I have eaten in Townsville in the past few months. Their food is delicious and made me feel like I was in Thailand. The restaurant is decorated with Southeast Asian characteristics, and the gentleman who collected the dishes was also very welcoming.Food: 5/5
This place exceeded all of our expectations from the moment we walked in. The owner greeted us joyously and warmly as he welcomed us to his restaurant and the town. He helped us order and gave us beer and food recommendations. We ended up ordering the Golden Sacks as the starter see pic below, and the Red Curry medium spice and the Ginger Chicken Stir Fry for our mains. The food was delicious, especially the curry! I would give this place 6 stars if I could.
5 friends, shared an evening at this eating house,last Friday. One diner has serious issues with chilli allergies, and certain food colourants. The staff were amazing in helping to select " safe" foods. The chef was extremely mindful and made sure we all had a more than pleasant food experience. I chose the Chicken Red Curry and it was delicious.The young staff were also fantastic. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. We will ALL return. Parking: We were early 5:30 and did not have a problem. Park holds approx 12 spaces, at front, but plenty more behind in Ottos/ Cinema.
Friendly service and very nice food! When they say Thai hot it’s actually hot unlike many other places we’ve tried. Good prices and portions too. Small amount of off street shared car parking available too.
Such a great little restaurant! They were very Knowledgeable about vegan options and most items could be made vegan. Food was hot, fresh and aromatic. I also ordered takeaway recently which was well priced and ready when I arrived. The Thai Green Curry with coconut rice is my go to! Absolutely love it and Thai smile house makes it perfect! My husband loves the pad Thai and the kids enjoy the roti. Looking forward to trying some deserts next visit. Will be returning again for sure. Was pleasantly surprised by this place and would happily go again! Very friendly and helpful service, and a menu with refreshingly unique options like the Thai Artistry which was roti served with a selection of sweets to play and create with very fun, and a Thai Iced Tea with Kai rice liqueur available in standard or Lychee.

Don't usually rate restaurants poorly but sorry the garlic fried rice served at lunch today costing $15 was just very poor. Didn't taste very good and barely any effort placed into making it. Understand that other dishes may be better based on the general star review but honestly would expect more from a restaurant that has received a 4.6 start rating on Google.
I love the pad thai and fried rice here. I moved to Townsville for university and miss my mum's cooking a lot. I ordered a vegetarian pad thai and it tops my mum's! It is very rare when something beats my mums cooking. There is always good service here too and very accommodating to vegetarians : Vegetarian options: They are very accommodating to vegetarian options!
