We went there on a Tuesday afternoon around 1:30. Still got people dining, line up a little. Waiting for food probably 20 minutes. We ordered beef massaman, pawpaw salad, pad see eew. Pad see eew with tofu is average, The noodles are narrow in width and thick. I would have prefered wider fresh rice noodles and less sweet. Beef massaman tasted like beef cooked in water, then put beef in the massaman Curry. The beef itself is quite plain and lack of salt, the curry is more towards watery texture. The beef is not tearing apart status yet, it can be cook longer with the curry. I prefer massaman at Chang smile Thai in Buderim and Thai infusion in Maroochydore. Pawpaw salad is a little weird, the pawpaw is very thickly shredded, normally it's thinner. It doesn't feel like the dressing is coated on the salad. I guess because the pawpaw is too thick that's why the dressing is not going into the pawpaw. There were two chicken skewers, they are nightlight of the meal. Very nicely sealed. It's probably my favourite. They do charged 50 cents for a takeaway container. It's 20 cents in Brisbane generally. A lot of restaurants don't charge takeaway container on sunshine coast. Overall, my friend and both think it's ok. Food is fresh and hot, the service is friendly and quick. If I am nearby, I will return just to get a quick lunch.
We had a lovely meal here last night. It was very busy due to an event nearby but the food still came out fast. The price was good and the food high quality and tasty. Also many vegetarian options.The staff were lovely and well done to the chefs as it was so busy.We are locals and will be back. Thankyou Vegetarian options: Lot of options for vegetarians
The food was very mediocre and the 3 of us struggled to eat it and we left our meals mostly uneaten. The ingredients were good quality but the dishes themselves were bland and tasteless. Whoever cooked these meals did not do a good job. It was very busy because of an event last night nearby so maybe they were having an off night. The staff were pleasant and the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing with lovely Thai décor. I have never written a restaurant review before but the meals prompted me to give Thai Lime Twist some constructive comments so that can improve the delivery of their menu.
I'm sorry to say but our food experience at this restaurant last night was very disappointing. The staff were courteous and cooperative but the meals were not at all tasty, the chicken sate and coconut prawn entrees had some sort of batter on them, the pork belly was dry and tasteless and the green paw paw salad was also disappointing.
Worst Thai We have eaten in a long time. Threw most away and usually we enjoy left overs next day even more! Waited in store over an hour for 3 dishes. As did everyone else.
My family and I dined here while in the area on holiday. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff missed ordering one of our meals, which was quickly corrected once realised. We ordered two seafood Tom Yum, one of which was the missed meal, and they two bowls were quite inconsistent. The first one had prawns, fish, squid, mussels and capsicum whilst my husband who got the second one only had squid and mussels. He didn’t realise until after he finished his meal, what his one was missing so many ingredients. Perhaps it was missing some ingredients due to the rush to get the missed order out to the table. All in all, this place has great food and we will come again.
Ok, however not a place ill rush back to. We had take away and there was no tofu in tofu dish, coconut prawns mostly batter and very few prawns or identifiable seafood in seafood dish. Overall the taste was ok as were the curry puffs though.
Took the time to book a table for 12.00 lunchtime.Quiet in-house on arrival. No acknowledgement given by staff. Then the rush was on with people queuing for takeaway and in-house. Decided to queue for order when a lady oblivious to any protocol pushes to front and is accepted for order.Im politely nodded that this is OK Infront of another gentleman and myself.SORRY IT'S NOT. We left realising the wait for our order even after booking was inconsequential to staff and would be a long time. The food MAY be good I don't know but in-house service Very Bad. Be Prepared. Will not return. Parking: Be prepared to pay.
After an order mix up, we were well looked after. The food is always amazing, by far the best Thai food and customer service on the Sunshine Coast.
We spent 68 dollar for those three. Massanmanonly 3 pieces of chicken is not good at all BTW Highly recommend Tom Yum Soup, if you pretty like sour.
