A real shame, been going to the Blue Orchid since it opened in the 90's was always happy paying more than your average Thai restaurant because the food justified the price, now even the really cheap Thai takeaways have better quality food. What happened to the flavour and why is the crunchy pork never crunchy anymore?! Curries just taste like coconut milk

Had not been back to the Blue Orchid for some time as we have been trying other places around the coast. It was really nice food and we won't leave it so long till we next come back. Think we might have to make it our takeaway point of choice also.

The food was first class Thai. Service was good. Everyone including vegetarians were catered for. Drinks were lovely and cold. We had a large group and were all comfortable at our table. A great night altogether.

Reasonable Thai food - about what we expected. Not sure about the claim to be the best (or second best) in Australia though. Service on arrival was excellent and food was brought out fast, which we appreciated greatly.
