The flavour of the massaman was nice the meat not so great. Cheap tough sizzle steak that was like eating cardboard and the veggies were unfortunately raw. My partner had the chicken fried rice which was apparently nice
We love Thai@Dunes Friday lunch is a favourite. Love the curries, stir fries and Pad Thai Often get take away as well. Service is great and we are always made to feel welcome. My husband requires Gluten Free and he is always looked after. Only $3 extra and his meal is cooked separately. We keep coming back for this beautiful tasty Thai food
Typical neighbourhood Thai. Reasonable price = reasonable quality. Roti was fried to within an inch of its life, but otherwise the curry puffs, curries and rice were all pretty good. Would order again for cheap, cheerful and satisfying Thai food.
*Best Pad Thai in town, big plate and lots of fresh vegetables in stire fried. Curry just mild. *Lovely and clean place for 30 seaters Staffs are very friendly *very quick services
The loveliest Thai food I have had! We had the mixed entree and each part was fabulous! A green curry with chicken and papaya salad with steamed rice, outstanding! Staff warm and friendly. Loved the entire experience.
ABYSMAL!!! I attempted to order a vegan curry which they confirmed they understood over the phone. Once we had picked up our order, it was clearly marked as vegan. However, once we got home and opened it, it had chicken all through it. We then had to go back and pick up a replacement curry that had been marked vegan again. We got home and again, found chicken through the curry. Worst experience of takeaway we’ve ever had. It was definitely made worse by the fact the cook herself and the other staff were not apologetic at all. Especially considering this issue is one that can cause someone to be very sick. I do not understand how they make this mistake twice. Absolutely disgusted. Will never be ordering from here again.
Great service, large portions, very tasty and friendly staff
Ordered take deluvery , two entrees and pad thai noodles. Vegie spring rolls were nice, entree calamari was ok, too salty for our taste. Pad thai with seafood was inedible, far too sweet , the seafood was nice and the only part that we ate.
OMG the worst, actually laughable Ordered the rice paper rolls - no noodles / rice paper outing completely burst and fell apart / the chicken was Woolies or Coles full chicken just pulled apart and stuffed inside and they use mixed supermarket lettuce. Not sure they know what rice paper rolls are meant to be but these were terrible and not authentic at all Had the green curry as mains, was just liquid - maybe 2 tables spoons of veg / chicken, the rest was watery like liquid. Roti bread is so greasy and overly cooked that it’s basically air. If you’re looking for authentic or even just a decent Thai meal, don’t bother eating here! Coles / Woolies microwave meals are better and that says a lot about the quality
EDIT: The restaurants response below is a blatant lie. Their staff member even told me that they hadn't updated their prices on the menu or front of shop since their price increase. They may have done so now, I don't know, but they certainly hadn't at the time and I doubt they have since. Absolutely disgusted with this restaurant! I ordered about $50 worth of food according to their menu and the board out front of the place only for them to try to charge me nearly $90!! They've gone and upped the price that much but don't tell you until you're paying! BEWARE!! No wonder they only had one small table of customers during Torquays busy season!!
