I'm commenting on the Telstra booking system, which is not limited to this store only. I went to three Telstra stores, including this one, to change from my previous plan to Telstra. They asked me to book a 1-hour appointment for the job that took them only 10 minutes. They were not busy when I went to the store. They keep insisting that you need to book first. When you want to book, they are booked for at least next 7 days. If you have an urgent task, you need to wait for days for 10 minutes job to be done. Worth noting that other providers are doing this completely online. That's a sham for one of the biggest providers! Now I understand why "they are always booked".
I'm now up to my fourth complaint with Telstra within a year, escalated on this occasion to the TIO. They can't keep you on the same plan for more than 6-12 months, and keep switching you to more expensive plans despite advising they are shifting you to a cheaper plan. New billing system now has different payment dates for each device subscription, all direct debit on credit card, no other payment options. Faceless corporation, refuse to acknowledge any fault on their part, can only speak to Customer Service based in Philippines after very long wait time, or chat through app and repeat yourself for 3-4 hours in an endless loop. If you value customer vice and not being ripped off, then choose another provider and don't lock yourself into a device purchase contract through them, because they will not keep up their side of the contract. The most abysmal and depressing customer service interactions that I've ever experienced in my entire life, and I've been a customer with them for 15+ years, it's only getting worse. Not one person at this company has any idea about accountability to their customers.
SO helpful with problems when I tried to activate my SIM card today . Special thanks to a very patient and understanding Seth Ng, who spent over an hour, sorting out my previous stroppy SIM card. By the way, if his boss reads this, can you please double his salary!! Again, many thanks.
Useless store & poor customer service. Made an effort to come to the store to sign up for a mobile plan just to be sent back because it was 4:30pm on a Sunday and they had a few customers ahead of me. I knew exactly what I was after & already am a Telstra customer. Once a customer is inside the store, they should serve the customer. What a waste of time. Better to go with some other telco.
Went here today and just like the other half a dozen times we’ve been here, we got turned away and asked to book or come in at a certain day. All because we can’t update our new addrsss on the app and this is what we need help on. It only takes 5 minutes if at all, they already have their notebook with them! How bad is this service, to the staff Antony, you already were holding your notebook/iPad… 5 mins to update our address, been here 6 times! A reflection of your customer service to a loyal customer, imagine if this is not our telco.
I’m assuming reading all the bad reviews and the wishy washy answers from the social media team, that honestly there doesn’t appear to be any attempt to improve. Therefore it must be assumed that the senior manager needs sacking as they have lost control of the staff, or the social media team is protecting friends and not informing Telstra senior management which maybe I need to do. Given I was ready to drop one $2k, reading these reviews I think I’ll go elsewhere.
Came in, got name and number taken and they said they'd call me back when they're ready. After 3 hours, I went back in as they didn't call back - they had the audacity to almost call me a liar because they had apparentlycalled. They didn't. No history on my phone for calls from them. Then advised what they said yes earlier on data transfer between phones is now a no. I also wanted a new plan but they didn't proceed with discussing this with me, so I gave up. Extremely poor service. Will go to a different store next time.
I went this morning to enquire about stopping my membership before leaving for overseas. I must say the guy who work in the reception is very rude and not well trained with customer service. I have been with Telstra for the last 2 years and I was intending to reconnect with Telestra when I come back after 5 months. Also can you train your staff to have eye contact with customers as he was busy with his tablet and not paying attention also one of the other workers interrupted him while he was attending to us he did not excuse himself he let us wait. But definitely what I have experienced this morning I’m having second thought to reconnect with Telstra. Regards, Mohamed
I've always had good service here up until a few weeks ago, went to pre order samsung s23 after waiting around the city for 3 hours for a appointment then another 30 minutes with customer service being told I can't pre order due to a simcard that was replaced 2 years ago I was told the issue would be fixed and they will call or email to come back and pre order....still waiting!
I bought a Nokia G11,3month ago ,my phone more than 5 times goes off itself and takes 3to 4 minutes comes back with each time 3 restarting ,then my phone lost the speaker,I went there to get fixed just because of some scratch in the screen,which screen was working perfectly they refused to do it,as a policy of the business they said even sending to Nokia to review cost me 199,which phone price was 230,it s dissatisfaction,and disappointed
