The service was great. We arrived when it was just opened for business and the waitress was very friendly and welcoming! Helped to set up a baby chair for us too. The dim sum can be considered relatively authentic and good. Char Siew Pau and Century Egg Lean Pork Porridge were not as good those in Hong Kong and Singapore but the Lau Sha Pau, Har Gow, and Lor Bak Ko carrot cake were comparable. Lor Bak Ko was fried crisp on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside. The filling in the Lau Sha Pau tasted good except a little too sweet. Har Gow is perfect, skin not too thick and prawn is fresh. I would recommend these 3 types of dim sum. Will I come back? It’s a definite Yes as it could be one of the better dim sum place In Palmerston North.
Family favourite Chinese restaurant, come here very regularly and they have consistently delivered good dishes and service !! Dim sum and dinner is equally yum! Highly recommend this place!nOn a side note, if the tofu was served with ginger syrup, it would make the dish 10x better :
Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Palmy, even better than a lot of other Chinese restaurant in Wellington.nTheir yamcha and their Chinese dishes have always been very consistent, delicious and tasty. Portions are also very generous.nnThe service and staffs have been amazing and have always been very accommodating even when they’re busy. Highly recommend this place.nnDo try theirs spicy sour soup, and their Peking duck.
The Chinese Restaurant with yum cha dim sums to order. Some of the items are only available on weekend. We ordered the black sesame roll dessert but replied that the restaurant has stopped offer this dish for a while.nOn the whole, the food are yummy with reasonable price.
Chinese food based restaurant. Pricing is fairly good given there's alot to eat. Interior very spartan but spacious and clean. Dined as a group of 9 and had the banquet selection of food served over about the period of 1/2hr. The longest part was the entrees then the remainder of the meals came in quick succession. BYO.
