Tarewa Park is a very clean environment and child friendly as there is a park and a field which is used by the public. There is free WiFi on offer as there is a cafe on site but I cannot tell you much about the place as I did not use it. There are also toilets available to the public and a shower facility that you pay for at a reasonable price but I am unsure if that stays open all night sorry as after hours the toilets are shut except for one that remains open 24 hours as this park is open to the public as an overnight stay, which many people come to and sleep in their camper vans and vehicles. They also use their cookers to cook and once finished, they clean up after themselves. And so that's my experience of this park as I spent one night there also and I felt safe knowing there were others sleeping overnight too.

Very convenient for the kids to play, restrooms and showers for the traveller with information for local areas etc..with a bonus of drinks and food

3 of us had lunch @ The Press cafe, lovely meal, though over the lunch period 12pm onwards not a great variety of food in cabinets.
