Kiwi haven. Go at feeding time and although not guaranteed to see the pair chances are you will. Better viewing than Auckland zoo and a lot more friendly. Keeper took the time to chat and answer lots of questions. Highly recommend.

Had loads of fun at the kiwi north open day. Train rides, tractor rides and best of all mini trains. Will be going back next time there running

Staff Joey was really helpful. She showed us around the Kiwi House and gave us a lot of interesting facts about the creatures we saw there. We can feel her passion about her job and the great nature. We really enjoyed our time spent there. Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed our visit and especially pleased to see the male Kiwi roaming and eating food. Staff where friendly, informative and very passionate about their roll. Please make the most of this wonderful Museum while you can.

Great place to see kiwi birds and other new zealand native creatures. Very friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Has a little museum too. There's a lil chapel "oruati chapel"with a history behind. You can park through the chapel window. The smallest chapel shaped like an octagon.
