Beautiful gardens created in remains of quarry. Loved the 'reclaimed by nature' vibe mixed with more formal landscaping. Shame all the cacti were buried in a landslide from recent cyclone.nnEntry by donation rather than a set fee. Worth so much more than a token gold coin given how much effort clearly volunteers have put in to create this place.
Absolutely breathtaking beauty as far as my eye could see. The treasure hunt made it even more fun and kept the kids on lead looking for clues. The walk up to the waterfall and Lake was exceptional and was kids friendly.
I had read the reviews, but I was still blown away. We thought we'd stop in for 20 minutes but spent well over an hour here meandering. We made a donation on our way in and a second on our way out, we were so impressed. What the volunteers have done and continue to do is incredibly special.
Gorgeous gardens and wonderful volunteers! Ann welcomed us and told us all about the gardens which were just beautiful. Well worth the visit :
Enjoyed my time in Quarry Gardens and will probably return for another visit. All staff were friendly and happy to chat.nFlowing water is usually a pleasant form of relaxationnThe gardens are a very valuable venue to have for the city
