When i first visited straight after covid ; the food took for over 45mins to come and the portion size was very little; we had to eat more afterwards. However; we visited again recently with our clients due to other places being all fully booked.. i was worried due to previous experience. SURPRISINGLY, this time; the food came out just in time and the portion size was reasonable compared to before. Clients were happy and so were we. Im happy to visit again for dinner:
Service was friendly and professional. Everything was explained well on arrival. The lamb rack was divine and we will go back just for that alone!! Todays market fish was snapper and it was alright. The feedback I got was that the fish was average but the salad on the side was really nice. We were served complimentary bread and butter on arrival. That was really lovely and delicious. Overall, what an amazing meal for me anyway, since I had the lamb rack. Haha.
The restaurant is an awesome good atmosphere and comfortable tables, the food is so tasty and the presentation very good, they have a friendly service always taking care of you. The only thing was the large glass of wine looked like a normal glass of wine but it is not a big deal for me I recommend it 100% Good price for a good restaurant
I’m sorry the quality does not worth the price. It took us 15mins to get seated even though we’ve got a booking at 6pm when the restaurant just opened for dinner. The staffs were nice when talked to me but they were so confused, took the wrong drinks and food to our table couple of times, no one checking or looking at us when we wave for order and suddenly 2-3 people showed up at our table to clear the plates. I had to repeat a few times that we’re still going through a plate that got food on to stop it being taken away. Ordered oysters and got told later that there’s no more oyster. We ordered the wagyu steak and certainly paid for it on the bill but I believe this is not wagyu. I’ve had wagyu many times before and this is way too dried to be wagyu and the portions is no way 300g as stated on the menu. I’ve checked with the waiter if this was the right steak and been confirmed that’s what we ordered but pretty sure they may have served us the fillet mignon which is much cheaper on the menu. Everything else is lack of seasoning and definitely does not worth the pricey. Was going to try dessert but all these put me off and ended up leaving earlier then we thought. I really expect more from a restaurant that in a luxury famous hotel.
We went to this restaurant for dinner, the service was outstanding. The food was fantastic, perfect, delicious, fresh, and tasty. We enjoyed it so much we are going there again soon. Thank you for the team for making us feel so welcome also. We enjoyed going back after the covid MIQ finished here.
My partner went to pick me up from the town. Instead of sitting in the traffic we decided to have a quick bite before hitting the road. Tapestry Grill & Bar Tapestry in the Pullman hotel was handy, so we went there. We ordered the chicken breast, fried squid and market fish crudo. We ended up sharing the roasted chicken because the fried squid is VERY salty. Put this way, I would be happy to testify in any court that this is literally the most salty squid that I have every had. The waitress was kind enough to ask how the meal was and offered a replacement for the salty squid. Though we did not take the offer, we appreciate the nice gesture. Another interesting dish is the market fish crudo. I imagine that the market fish crudo is supposed to be a tropical summer dish, with slices of raw fish blending orange bites sinking in passionfruit like flavoured sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce might be too thin - the raw fish was pretty much tasteless even it was sinking in the sauce. The orange bites did not pull out the freshness of the raw fish, instead it made the fish fishy. Though my partner had gone the extra mile to demonstrate that the fried squid and the market fish crudo were eatable by cleaning up the plate, I would recommend one to avoid the fried squid. This particularly applies to these with an elevated blood pressure.
Fine dining pricing but unfortunately the taste and quality isn't there. The miso eggplant entree was the best thing we ate. The crispy skin duck didn't have crispy skin. The fish of the day kingfish was overly salty. Salmon was cooked beautifully but flavour was bland. Service was great though. The waitresses were very attentive. But I wouldn't be going back anytime soon.
WORST EXPERIENCE. I made an online booking with a reservation in tapestry for dinner. Ended up getting there slightly early. We happily waited for our table as i went to recheck how long it would take, one lady named Theresa was absolutely remorse and ruthless and so RUDE. I had simply inquired if the table was ready and she rudely told me to check for myself n know that it wasnt ready. Shameful!!! The fact she even refused we couldnt get a table while the other staff told we could, THERESA even had the audacity to go and speak to whoever i want to in-regards of the situation. This was far the WORST 5 star hotel experience we have ever had. Please choose your staff wisely for any business to work.
We had the loveliest Philippina serve us. She was relatable, friendly and down to earth. She was also very helpful with our very many annoying questions and food intolerances. If I had the opportunity to go there again, I certainly will. Food was delicious.Food: 5/5
Oh my goodness, this was the best food I've had in a while! The home made bread and seaweed butter were incredible and the rest of our meal was amazing!! The bar man was a little slow at making cocktails but they were very tasty so we weren't too worried. Overall, great service and experience
