We had a celebratory dinner and drinks at Northern Steamship in Britomart precinct, and we ordered cocktails with a Northern Steamship platter and the pork fillet on beetroot and food was very good not to mention the beverages! Food and drink delivery was prompt and the platter was impressive!
Great ambience and tasty food.
Had a tasty pint of Amber Ale at this pretty, well appointed brew bar. I liked the variety of seating and large glass windows into the quiet street. The security and bar staff were friendly, the seating was comfy, and I thought a decent range of beers, basically A+ for everything important. I'd come back here in a heartbeat.
Just so so ...good but nothing special
Nice looking space, large, fireplaces, but much of the food is deep fried. Decent beer and excellent bartender Dario.
The food is decent, the ambience varied and the staff an absolute joy.....
Came here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, lovely sunny day, shame about the noise and traffic on quay street. Had 2 pizzas and chips for kids and drinks, pizzas big and nice although one was very burnt on the bottom.
Great beer and good food
Great location, cool decor, relaxed feel
I had fish and chips here at lunchtime. For $23 or there abouts it was a bit of a rip. Adequate chips but the fish pieces were small and the batter was not that crispy and turning soggy underneath. The salad was a nice touch though. A good selection of beers so I will stick to the beer next time and eat somewhere else.
