We stopped by during a food tour. The building was the first hotel in Auckland and the decor is fun. We had a cheese platter that was good but not outstanding.
Lovely space, super friendly bar staff and delicious cocktails. A classy space with a relaxed vibe on the first floor of the hotel. Had a great chat to the Russian/Italian bartender. Nice to be able to sit at the bar if your by yourself and get some attention
Love going to this bar midweek because it's almost completely empty and the cocktails are perfect. Kinda hesitant giving it five stars purely for my own selfish reasons of not wanting to share my quiet date night escape.
We were sat at a broken table which collaped a d spilt a round of drinks all over our clothes and phones. A rude bartender only comped us 1 drink and got angry when we asked for more. The lovely manager stepped in and sorted us out but in the meantime the rude bartender was swearing about us loudly and made us very uncomfortable
Such a great atmosphere. This team knows their cocktails and are always creating new menus to keep things interesting.
Great atmosphere and excellent cocktails. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and are able to cater beverages to almost any mood. The service is always on point and the team make the effort to go the extra mile to see you smile. Highly recommend the chunky hand-cut agria potato chips with aioli! Exceptional! I’m looking forward to my next trip back here!
Enjoyed every little thing about this place from the amazing cocktails to the delicious food. Such an incredible place and they all looked after us, in particular to the barman Sezz he well and truly went over and beyond taking care of me and my partner tonight, he was welcoming from the moment we came in, offered us such good hospitality and laughter throughout the night. Would highly reccomend this place to go on dates and drinks. Its definitely a good atmosphere.
Went here early Sat night- 9th April. Good service and got a really nice espresso Martini.
Perfect little bar. One of my favourite spots in Auckland.
Would not recommend for cocktails. Garden Fresh: Wrong ingredients Hibiscus Bloom: Unbalanced, too sweet. Rumy Pair: Lots of particles, needs straining. Wrong glass, only filled it half way. Whiskey Sour: Unbalanced, no foam. If you notice the bartender serving drinks without tasting them... you should probably order a beer. Two stars for atmosphere! It's a lovely little place.
