Great valentines day special 5 course degustation with 4 wines paired, excellent service and food.
Popped in for a late night Affogato. The dessert was just beautiful. The staff are very genuine and care about your dining experience. Would go back for a main next time. The decor was very elegant.
Lovely place, such good atmosphere and amazing food. Would recommend coming here for any event or dinner. Went here for my birthday dinner and had the best time and the staff were so friendly and lovely.
O'Connell St Bistro has been around for many years and definitely sits in the top 10 in Auckland. It's a pleasure to go to a peaceful and relaxing restaurant with a beautiful fit out and linen. I had the steak tartare which was perfect followed by a very good fish with crayfish risotto. My friends all enjoyed their meals.

This is our favourite restaurant in Auckland for good reason. Excellent and friendly service, an extensive wine list and food that is of a stunning quality and visually amazing.
Great service, great location, nice decor/ambience. Food was good but not impressive - the dishes overall are a little bland for my taste. Portions a touch on the small side. We had 2.5 courses each shared dessert and two glasses of wine which came to $223. If there was a value for money rating it would be 3.5 for me.
We had a great evening. The Crispy Squid was best I have ever tasted. Rest of the food was good and well presented. Maybe just a little fussy. To be clear the food was good but the cosy location was better. Not quite 5 stars.
Lovely food, excellent service. Waiter made the whole evening a great experience.
