Fabulous 4 hour round trip to the scenic Taieri Gorge in wonderfully restored coaches. The commentary was informative but not intrusive. Loved being able to go outside on the viewing platform that each heritage coach has. We ordered the lunch box and it was tasty and filling though other hot options on board also looked good.

The Taieri Gorge is a rather beautiful little gorge and the railway recreates the way it was a hundred years ago (with heating). Nature and history in one package.
