A popular restaurant on Canterbury Road which serves burgers, wraps, wings, lamb ribs and salad. After years of driving pass, I decided to give it a try. The salad are fresh and I highly recommend the chicken wings - cooked perfectly with a bit of char. The hot chips were nice, but I would have preferred to have a little bit more chicken salt and if there was a toasted option on the wrap, it would have been perfect. The restaurant gets very busy, with lots of eat in and take away. Staff though, had a great smile and cleaned/cleared the tables promptly. It's great that they have a washing basin as well, as things can get messy. Overall, I quite liked the restaurant for a casual bite and will come back in the future
This place slaps. I ordered the chicken burger combo which comes with chips, drink and 3 wings. I also ordered 6 wings I didn't know the combo came with the 3 .nnThe chicken burger was nice. Single fillet, nice sauce, fresh salad and standard bun. Reminds me of an old school burger with a new twist - being the special sauce. The burger did hit the spot, but I felt something was missing. Not sure what it is though. I would definitely eat it again.nnChips - standard.nnChicken wings, out of this world. Really, they were hot, juicy and full of smoky, saucy hot flavour.nnThese guys do the charcoal very well and no wonder it's one of the most visited restaurants in Sydney.nnThe service was good and fast. No chit chat, but they are present and attentive if you require assistance.nnThis place is a solid 4/5. I would have given it a 5 if the burger slapped harder. Non the less, fantastic.
Food is good, but they’re extremely tight and they overcharge.nThey give u kafta with no bread and 20pc of wings with 1 mini sauceextra mini sauce is $2. Will never go there again. I highly recommend Cedar Wrap BBQ just down the road. The owner is so lovely and generous.
Update 20 April:nnI ordered takeaway again and this is how it came out. Totally burnt again and even worse than last time. I don’t understand how can they even send it out inedible like this.nnOriginal Review:nnI used to rave about Sydney Wings to all my friends—it was my go-to spot, and I’d recommend it to everyone. The renovation looks great; the place definitely feels more modern and inviting. But the food? Total letdown.nnThe wings, which were always the highlight, came out super oily and even a bit burnt. It’s like the quality just isn’t there anymore. My friends were all disappointed, and honestly, I don’t see any of us going back. It’s a shame because it used to be amazing
