We apparently contacted the university not the university online She blamed usnSo we messed around with Passwords with the IT guy And with the student help with the university eunWhich we were all transferred tonFor nothingnnBecause of how much messing around we’ve done now, they have to contact their ITnTo find out what’s going on cause we still can’t get onto corsenAnd to fix all the messing around and changing passwords that we didnnOr nothingnThey say that it’s going to take daysnI am still paying for this and I’m unable to do my course
Swinburne University is a great institution for many reasons. In terms of location, it’s conveniently situated next to Glenferrie Station and shopping strip, perfect for quick coffee breaks. There are also plenty of shops on campus and lots of cozy spots to grab something to eat between classes.nnThe university hosts a variety of events during the semester, with many clubs setting up stalls all over campus. They offer comedy nights, karaoke at The Junction, guest speakers, and insightful seminars. Although they do a good job of concealing the numerous international arms trade deals they’re involved in, you can find links to some of this research on campus. It’s world-class research, and if it weren’t contributing to so much destruction, I’d be quite impressed.nnThe facilities are excellent, with plenty of well-maintained toilets and buildings cared for by staff and students. Friendly staff are always available to help you navigate the grounds, and the library is a one-stop shop for any information you might need. If you’re a student or looking for a place to study, the inner-city campus is highly accessible, with a nice blend of greenery throughout the buildings that brings the campus to life.
The academics were incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and supported my intellectual growth in a challenging but supportive manner. They provided insights and experiences relevant to current industry but also exposed us to critical thinking and the need for flexibility and agility to meet the challenges in a rapidly changing environment.nThe parking wasn't great so only 3 stars
!!!!!!! Swinburne University – A Complete Scam for Overseas Students !!!!!! nnListen carefully, because I’m going to tell you the hard, ugly truth. I’ve studied and compared universities. I’m not the smartest, but I have capacity, I’m capable, and even I got destroyed here.nnSwinburne looks fancy from the outside. Everyone dreams of coming here. Everyone. But it’s all a trap. A lie. A scam.nnI’m doing Bachelor of IT, and it’s a money-grabbing death trap. The course is designed to fail you. One tiny mistake, one low mark on one assignment, and they can fail you in the entire subject. Fail, and you’re stuck waiting a whole year to redo it. I’ve seen students forced to repeat first-year subjects. I’ve seen students switch courses just to survive. This is not a university helping students it’s a machine built to crush you for money.nnNow, the administration… let me be brutally honest: they are not human. I had a personal, extremely sensitive issue, and I asked for help during my first misconduct case. They didn’t care. They ignored me. They treated me like trash. This is supposed to be a first-world university experience, but it felt worse than a third-world nightmare.nnIf you try to apply for misconduct support, you wait months 3, 4 months just for your case to be processed. I got caught for the first time ever in my final semester, and they threw me away like I didn’t exist. Rules, propaganda, appearances this is all they care about. Students? Don’t matter.nnI paid over $100,000 for three years, and they acted like it was nothing. Business school admin? Does not care. Counseling, support, wellbeing programs they are useless lies. Fake. Only there to look good in brochures.nnIT is the cruelest. Every small mistake is punished harshly. One assignment can destroy your entire subject. Recovery options? Almost none. Students fail. Students drop. Students switch courses. Stress levels? Insane. Mental health? Ignored. Money? Taken. Dreams? Destroyed.nnSwinburne promises dreams, opportunities, a great experience but it destroys you mentally, emotionally, and financially. They lure you with shiny brochures, fancy buildings, and empty promises then when things get real, they kick you aside.nnOverseas students, hear me: this place will break you. If you care about your time, money, and sanity, stay far, far away. Swinburne doesn’t care about you. They care about money and appearances. You will be stressed, alone, and abandoned if you fall for it.nnDo not come here. Save yourself before it’s too late. This is not a university it’s a trap.
This school does not listen to their students. The professor named Yalda does not teach, give feedback or help their students what so ever. Students have spoken up about this yet nothing has happened and Yalda keeps getting away with this. Even when directly asking for help or feedback this professor flat out denies giving any. What are we paying for? What is Yalda being payed for when they choose not to teach their students. It is beyond a joke. I do not recommend doing any form of architecture subjects because you might get this professor.
