Sushi-ya has been around for some years and they can do some really good Japanese food but there are a few cracks to the facade of this popular restaurant. One thing that can be annoying is their lack of attention to timing. It doesn't seem to matter what you ordered, the food will all come as soon as they are prepared. This could mean that mains will arrive before entrees or one diner is left without their dish while others wait awkwardly. I'm sure their desire to move people on is part of the motivation. Some might not find this an issue but it does raise an eyebrow from time to time. Someone also forgot to add the spice to the spicy seafood udon so it was just normal udon soup. Their sashimi is still top notch and when they are good, they are very good.

We come here every week, been regular for 5 odd years. But they need to sort out their kitchen. Korean chef always yells and shout at his staffs. All customer can hear it and if it is quite makes it very awkward!!! Please tell them to to fight after customer leave. Why do customer need to see their staffs crying!!!
