Tiny and cute sushi place! The food was really yummy and the prices are very good! We enjoyed the great and friendly service and would definitely come again
Excellent Japanese food and super friendly staff. I highly recommend it! If you would like suggestions, try the Seared Salmon Aburi, Crunchi Prown roll, Salmon sashimi sushi. For hot food the Okonomiyaki is great!
A small casual Japanese eatery on Harris St serves bento boxes, udon, sushi & sashimi. They offer good value lunch time set menu. I ordered a softshell crab salad and the portion is substantial with 4 pieces of battered soft shell crab. Not a lot of salad though. Not bad for $13.
Friendly, cosy and great value. This corner eatery has the usual Japanese options. Everything I've tried is tasty and well made
Awesome and authentic Japanese food with reasonable prices!! Sashimi pieces are big, chunky and fresh
The whole place including the plates and bowls and utensils smells like bleach. Totally turns us off the food. It also only has salmon that day. Should have told us when we order the sushi set that it does not have unagi prawn, and other varieties. I've never given any review less than 4 stars. First for me.
Average food in a not such a nice part of the suburb. The food is quite lazy and basic in flavour. There are cars passing by on the main street situated in front of the restaurant and I could see a lot of dust accumulating on the outdoor tables. The seats were not clean either. The only thing good was the attentive staff.
WOW this place is so fantastic!!!! It’s a little bit of Tokyo in Sydney. Food is soooo good , fresh tasty and real!! First time had a bento box that was 10/10 and today chicken Katsu egg don. Again a great dish!! Love this place.
Best value and high quality sushi and sashimi! Love how it's hidden away so no one knows my little local secret. I love Japanese food and this is one of my top ones in Sydney. That and the service is always friendly.
From the outside, Sushi Club doesn't evoke overly warm and fuzzy feelings. It's a quaint and small place, but the sushi restaurant on the other side of the road Hamachi-Ya looks well lit and nicely decorated. However, in this case you don't come for the pretty sights, you come for the delicious sushi. In this respect, Sushi Club delivers in spades. Having been several times now, favourite dishes include the grilled salmon roll and the Dragon Roll. Hearty pieces of fish or eel adorn the rolls, which are fresh, hot and tasty. The rolls are substantial in size and a great deal for under $15 each. We've also sampled set dishes and found them to be considerable in portion and well made. Take-away is what I've done nearly every time, but I've sat in the restaurant on two occasions, and both have been pleasant experiences as well. If you are looking for an affordable, fresh and varied Japanese restaurant in Pyrmont, Sushi Club definitely fits the bill.
