The bistro is lovely the kids play area is fantastic with ground level trampolines and some playground stuff all outside. Wednesday night is parma night and they were one of the best parmas I have ever had and the chips were really yummy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food prices are little bit higher than normal but the quality is well worth it.nOverall hotel bistro and accommodation cabins are excellent.
We stayed over the Labour Day long weekend from Saturday 11 March 2017 to Monday 13 March 2017. The cabin was very good value for a family of five. It was clean and quiet with new air conditioning and comfortable beds with good linen.
Keep coming back here and I’m not sure why, probably convenience as we live close by. Food, I am not sure the market they are targeting, let’s be honest it’s a pub, order at the counter and the decor/environment. However food prices are not in line, they are trying to compete with medium priced restaurants and they are missing the mark completely. Their food is overpriced and the waiting times for ordered food is ridiculous, we waited over an hour on the Sunday, 29 December. It’s a Pub, keep the fare simple and charge prices accordingly, unless you want to invest in upgrading. On a positive note the staff are great and friendly, they understand the problems we expressed and feel the frustration.
