For 3 years and more, a number of their drivers would pull up across our driveway to drop off (or pick up) if someone hailed them which is illegal, creates a dangerous traffic situation with cars turning around our corner and also creates a security problem at our residence. For 3 years addressed the matter (in person) with Surfside management. Useless! For 3 years took the matter directly to Translink. Useless! Took the matter directly to our local member, Rob Molhoek. Bloody useless! Finally took the matter directly to the Qld Transport Minister and threatened legal action. Within 4 weeks a dedicated Bus Stop was erected further down the road in a much safer location. The result. Enjoyed not hearing screeching car brakes, abuse being screamed at the bus drivers from irate road users, etc. Didn't last too long before these mugs again started picking up and dropping off passengers across our driveway again instead of driving 4 more houses up the road to the official Bus Stop. This act is illegal. Should a passenger sustain an injury getting on or off the bus 1. they have no claim. & 2. the drivers stand to be charged for illegal operation of a public vehicle and more. These boof-heads (drivers) have an I.Q of a walnut and just DON'T get the message. So I will start the process over again and maybe this time with a legal challenge toward all concerned (and media publicity as well) until they all get the message that they operate a bus service...not a bloody door-to-door pickup and drop off taxi service at the whim of some lazy sod who can't walk 4 houses further to the designated passenger zone.

Kids waiting and driver stop before que about 3 Mtr where school children are,he start up again and go past que where kids are by about 3 Mtr ,some smaller boys try to get head of que and chase bus on uneven grass ,any day now one will fall over and go under bus,I'm sure bus instructors don't teach this driving routine .Pottsville

Some bus drivers are very rude and will stop in a hurry for no reason but other then that it is good that we have public transport

I would just like to say on many occasion the busses that run don't come. My two teenage children that bith work part time. They have on many occasions waited for two lots of busses to come they like to catch the earlier bus so they arrive at work early. But that bus doesn't come yes they are at the bus stop early. Then the second bus doesn't come the same thing happens on their return trip home. We work and cannot just leave our jobs to get them to theirs. This is appaling we as a community are encouraged to use public transport. But why would we when cannot get to work on time, I think you need to Re think the way your service runs. If you want the public to use this service it needs to flow.
