Definitely brought the big kid out in me..... Very popular.
Surprisingly extensive model railway park. Various gauge tracks wander among trees, with bridges, and shelters. Small notice board at the entry often has the next meet date and time.
If you are new to town - take the time to visit the next train day! Kids will love it, always a busy day and it's a tonne of fun. Great to see people who enjoy sharing this timeless hobby with the community!
Great for kids and adults family atmosphere
Was loads of fun for the kids and adults alike. The volunteer operators were helpful and friendly and the sausage sizzle and scones were yummy. We will go again
This is a great place to hold a birthday party for the kids as they will be thrilled for hours watching and riding on the trains, mum, dad, granny and grandad will love the morning reliving there childhood memories. The crew are all volunteers and make this day one youbwill remember for ever, must wear covered shoes
Fantastic entertainment for the pre schoolers in our group. Runs once a month between 10am - 3pm, tickets are $3 per ride or 4 for $10. Under 3's free. Very well organised - quite a queue, but they had 8 or so trains running so it was pretty efficient. They also sell cold drinks, homemade cakes, sausage sizzles and instant tea/coffee for $1 or $2 a piece. Plenty of shaded areas amongst the tracks to sit and watch the trains with a picnic. There is a lull between 12pm -1pm, so a good time to turn up if you don't want to queue! Also need enclosed footwear to ride trains.
Beautiful park , great for kids when train is running. Thanks to Bushcare volunteers who keep it weed free.
Welcoming staff, great ride, sausage sizzle was yummy. Taking the grandkids next time.
Had a kiss birthday party there. Staff were great. Kids had a blast. Plenty of room to spread out and run
