Butterfly Hill Mission Statement:
To provide a unique, high quality eco-tourism experience, showcasing the diversity, life cycle and astounding beauty of Australian butterflies and their associated host plants.
By way of informative display and demonstration, raise public awareness of both the need to, and methods of, conserving butterflies.

This is a hidden gem. The owners were lovely and gave us a nice tour. For $7 entry it was a nice place to visit on a Sunday.

Food & view, fantastic, we always eat here when we visit Montville. Staff are lovely & welcoming.....however, yesterday we were showen to our table quite roughly. The attitude of hurry up, sit down, menus stacked on the table as she walked away before we even got to the seats. Better service at a pub counter lunch, certainly nothing wrong with them, just not what you would expect from a beautiful establishment as the Poets Cafe. The other staff were lovely.

What a geat place to experience the wonder of butterflies. A fully emersive experience and great for the children to get up close and learn about them. From crysalis to caterpilla to butterfly. Also stick insects and a lovely sounvineer shop.
