The worst 4 star accommodation we have stayed in. We stayed in 9B, the beach views were to die for, that was about it. Everything else went wrong. The mattresses were so uncomfortable, we ended up with very sore backs. They have managed to change the mattresses on the next day. The washing machine did not work properly, the dryer was not working. They promised to get someone to come and fix them but no one came. , It was difficult to open some of the windows and sliding doors especially in the kitchen, lounge and main bedroom. The cutlery were dirty when we arrived and the plates, glasses, pots, frypans were not in the right cupboards, we had to search what we wanted to use. There was no mop. They did not  reply to our message after hours. We stayed there for 9 nights, they did not come and change the sheets and towels. We will never stay there again.

We had an amazing time at the resort. It has 2 large pools one inside & the other outside, a gym , and the flat is so gorgeous!nThe lady at the reception was so beautiful and friendly with us , I hope we come back soon !

Absolutely fantastic resort - couldn’t recommend it more highly.  The rooms were clean and well equipped! The view was beautiful! The indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court and bbq area were spotless!! Plus Miriam and the team were delightful! I would give 10 stars if I could

I've been to gold coast 3 times now the first the first 2 hotels I didn't like they were on the other side when it came to skin colour the owners wife even came up to the room and apologized to me and my family for her husband he exact words were sorry my husbands a bit of a racist.... The 2nd time they literally moved us from the front of the hotel to the back at 9 o'clock at nightnnNOW this hotel has literally been the BEST and gave me hope in going back to gold coast.... NOTE me and my family will only ever stay at this hotel lol the lady in the front desk was so nice and we loved the maintenance guy he was deadly he made us feel so welcomed I cant express how grateful for such a great experience at your hotel we loved the room even had Foxtel the kids loved it lol

I stayed at the sunbird beach resort and found the location to be amazing!nLoved waking up every morning with such an amazing view from my bedroom.nnThe rooms were perfect for us and loved both the balcony’s that came with our room.nnStaff was extremely nice and friendly as one night I went out and came back at midnight and forgot my room keys and they were very helpful and friendly to assist in getting us back into our room at the crazy hour that it was.nnLocation of the resort was perfect as the beach was only 50 metres away and cavil avenue was as only a 15/20 minute walk.nnReally recommend to stay here
