My daughter has anxiety, was having a hard time relaxing for the swabs and bloods she needed done so the Highfields staff palmed us off to ones in town. Got the swabs done in town but she had a huge anxiety attack about the bloods. So the next day my daughter worked up the courage to go for bloods again. We go back to Highfields one as its 5min from our house and my daughter was doing so well, doing her breathing exercises to help with her anxiety and the staff member goes " I can't do her here, you have to take her into town" My daughter was reading herself, she just needed a little more patience and it would of happened. Not happy
Tried calling the pathology multiple times a day for 3 days in a row and could not get through to book a test. Each time the phone went straight to a message saying the collector could not answer the call or I phoned after business hours. I had to book at another SN Pathology which was twice the distance away - but I was able to ring that location and get through to a person!
I was second in a lineup of around 10 this morning. I had waited half an hour. Employee announces that she is the only worker today and she had 3 people booked in at 7am. This was my only option today at 7am to get my blood tests. I couldn't wait longer than 15 minutes so i was unable to have my blood tests today. Perhaps sullivan and nicholaides need to install an appointment system to be fair to everyone My time is just as important as anyone elses.
I have always had wonderful experiences at the highfields pathology. As a frequent visitor during both pregnancies and regular tests since, I have seen all the the staff members and can say they are all efficient and gentle.
The age old pastime of blood letting goes on. Nice rooms and friendly staff to help.
Always helpful lovely staff but don't hurt :
