Story

Sue (Burns) Venderley has been cooking homestyle, quality food for 40 years. A Bribie local since 1992, Sue has built up a loyal following whilst cooking in the kitchens of Bribie's Bowls Clubs; and decided to bring her skills and knowledge with soul food, seafood, and American cuisine to her very own takeaway restaurant.

Sue's daughters, Kirrilee and Nikki, have worked by her side in all of her hospitality ventures; and brought their excellence with cooking (Kirrilee) and quality customer service (Nikki), to ensure that Sue's Cafe and Takeaway upholds its reputation as the best takeaway on the Island.

Great place for your local grease attack, no excuses made here for any coronary problems, excellent burgers, great Southern fried chicken.

Used to be our favourite place on bribie to get chips. But they constantly don't put chicken salt on when asked for extra. 

Also one time they got my and some other customers orders mixed up and the owner their carried on like it was my fault she stuffed the orders up.

Friendly staff. Quick service. veggie burger and fish bites are very tasty. I will come back. I recommend everyone to try once and have great experience. Thanks Sue' cafe for the tastier food ever.
