This states "good for kids". This is a lie. I'm personally a regular customer of Subway, however I'm not a cusomer of this one. I would advise all people to steer clear, and to ensure their children steer clear. My friends 14 year old daughter came here to eat on Friday the 10th of February, 2017. The scene that ensued is in my opinion criminal, and highly immoral. My friends daughter, a girl of 14, came to this subway, making a healthy choice of meal whilst out with friends. She proceeded to make her order, and then to pay. Unbeknownst to this child, as the store had failed to properly advise it's customers and had failed to put up any form of signage, their card reader was not working. Being a responsible parent, my friend allows their daughter a key card, which they transfer funds to when necessary in order to ensure responsible spending. As such, the young girl only had card, and did not carry cash. This is completely reasonable and acceptable in todays electronic age. As the store and it's staff had failed to post appropriate signage, and had failed to inform their customers before proceeding to take orders, the girl had no way to pay. As such, she had little choice but to cancel her order, leave the store, and go somewhere else. A perfectly reasonable action when a store fails to provide sufficient notice of an issue or a payment method is unavailable. Instead of realize their mistake, and take it on the chin like any respectable person would, the male staff member serving this 14 year old girl proceeded to tell her she had no choice but to pay for it, and then continued on to abuse her. Now, this is bad enough. However, when this young girl extricates herself from the situation and the store, this male staff member not only continues to abuse her, but has the audacity to chase a frightened child down the street, yelling even more abuse. I don't know about other Subway customers, but I am disgusted and appalled that such behaviour has been commited by their staff, and further appalled by the fact that this unwarrented abuse was towards an innocent 14 year old girl. Further compounded by the fact the girl had done nothing wrong, when the store and it's staff are clearly the ones to have made an error. Please, fellow subway customors, at all costs avoid this subway and ensure your children do not go there. Do not risk exposing your children to such abhorrent behaviour and treatment.
