Tonight was our second night in a row dining here, it was so good we had to come back for more. Incredible food, warm atmosphere, and truly lovely and attentive staff! Fides Bar and Grill is a family-run gem that’s been serving Melbourne with heart for 11 years – congratulations on the milestone! I walked in to this place and thought ahhh another typical turkish restaurant in Melbourne. As I cast my eyes over the menu, I noticed some traditional dishes you don't always see outside of the typical kebabs from some of these places. Both my wife and I went with the traditional items from the menu. OMG the flavours were spot on, well balanced in the traditional sense, just like my nene would make back home. This is a hidden gem in the west of Melbourne that is well worth the visit. Service was great, making the booking over the phone was straight forward and our food came out relatively quickly.
The best Turkish cuisine in Melbourne, in-fact, the whole of Australia! Highly recommended this restaurant for its fresh servings of food, always delicious, well presented and served in great proportions. I love supporting this family run business. The restaurant ambiance is second to none, just perfect. A must try!
