'May as well have walked into a murder scene' This is by far the most unpleasant fast food restaurant I have ever walked into! It's actually dirty, not just messy but dirty!! The floors wouldn't have been moped or swept in a few days, there was mouldy food in all of the cracks and creases. The windows and glass were dirty. There were dead and alive flys EVERYWHERE! The sandwich bar was disgusting, the food all looked dry and old, and most definitely attacked by flys. The drinks fridge was empty, the post-made drinks machine sticky/rusty and there was rubbish everywhere! This restaurant would be shut down immediately if inspected... I'd love to check the temps of the food and the expire dates on everything! It's truly sad considering Katherine is the perfect rest place and subway is always at the top of everyone's choice! This restaurant could do with new management/owners! I highly doubt the team are treated properly too, the poor girl in there was working all alone, safety issue 101!
Where do you start?? We had sub way yesterday and it was the worst very slow service due to under staffing, inexperienced + dirty knifes left around salad looks rotten and you pay for a footlong sub and get less on it. Been in to subway two times and seems to be only one staff member serving feel sorry for staff members after reading the reviews seem that the manger is not interested at all with customers and her staff.
Worst subway i have had in a long time... and i don't blame the young bloke who served me as he was under the pump.. his boss left him on his own after 2pm to 6pm and there was a line of people waiting for a while.. he did well under the pressure but the sub was horrible
Would have to be the best subway in the top half of the nt it is better than all of them in Darwin.
