Not a dreadful experience. Shouldn't have been as hard as it was for 6 nuggets.  Dining room rarely open and when it is, often not clean. Toilets much the sameFood: 3/5

Currently short staffed  drive through service only — no walkins. Staff suggest download app order and they’ll bring food out. Call them and they suggested to download the App, so I did but then the App wanted me to join! Frustrated we decided to go to Peakabrew cafe across the road. No app needed we walked in ordered at the counter, sat down and were served within a few minutes!

Good to finally see it open inside the restaurant and not just a drive through. Service was very good.Food: 4/5

Food was average, as all maccas food is. However, I parked in the carpark and within 5 minutes people were taking things out of the back of my ute. Now I'm a territorian myself so all the expensive stuff was tied down and the eskys lid had its own special rope keeping it closed, but what about all the people from other states who aren't aware of Katherine's interesting reputation? Cause something should be done if the locals were already checking out my mates ute, and taking stuff out of mine. Be careful when parking here, or anywhere in Katherine as people will take anything they fancy off you if it isn't secured in such a way to hinder its removal.

Due to limited staff, they can have no option for dine-in. It can be quite random and if you are not a local you won't know when they open the restaurant. It's best to have a second plan, alternatively you can go to the drive-thru

I felt for the staff, clearly very short and they were so busy. The staff that served us were great, sadly. McCafe wasn't open.Food: 2/5

No good at all, menu had about 6 types burgers,  the guy on the voice box just couldn’t understand me, and I had difficulty understanding him. In the end he sold me the worst and driest burger ever.  You need to lift your game we are not the local indigenous, even then I’m surprised you don’t have drunken riots on your premises, due to the rubbish that is dished up. Totally disgusting. I’ve been discussing this with a lot of locals, and have a lot more to talk to, I know everyone in town, I have been here all my life. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising, you have forgotten that. Can you make an effort and stop ripping off the local people

For a MacDonalds it is in a good location, a block from the main shopping strip. It has lots of parking. It is quite spacious. The food that I ordered was up to MacDonalds' standards. The reason for dropping a star is that the app kept telling me that a lot of what I was looking at was unavailable at this store, I'm assuming broken machinery.

Nice and fast

I ordered a Big Mac which came without the filling between one of the tiers. Ok mistakes happen but when I took it back the staff were rude and then presented me with a reconstructed mess see photo.  In addition service was slow. There was some sort of fund raiser, all staff were in fancy dress propped up the customer side of the counter and generally creating an unprofessional atmosphere.
