I am still very happy I hadn’t had my hair cut in about A year and a half due to anxiety and bad experiences at other salons in the past. From the moment I stepped in, everyone was lovely and kind. I was a little early so they took me to a seat and asked if I would like a refreshment. Shortly after, someone came over to give me a scalp and shoulder massage which was AMAZING and helped to calm my nerves a little. My stylist Mark was great, he engaged me in conversation and took the time to go over what I would like done, respecting my thoughts and also giving his professional opinion on how to get the best outcome for my long hair. Some products were brought over to the station I was at but they were never pushed on me which I have had happen at salons before. 2 weeks later and I am still loving being able to wear my hair out… instead of in a braid ALL THE TIME. I don’t need to do too much with it as I like the messy layered look and it’s just what I was after. Thankyou again so much hope to see you again in the future for a trim.
Got my new look done! And what a great colour! The stylist listened to all I had to say! He also asked questions to clarify! The head massage was amazing. The staff were all friendly and approachable. They were also very patient.
I have had haircut in this place for years. I had to stop when I had a different hairdresser every time I went there. About 4 months ago I decided to give a go again. I have been happy with my hairdresser. However, today I felt very uncomfortable with the way the manager I think that's what she is talked to me about being 7 minutes late. I don't like being late, and it's the first time in all these years. I have a several times changed my appointment when they called me telling that who was before me canceled the appointment. I had an stressful morning which made me those few minutes late. So a bit more of sympathy would be great as we have no idea what hell is going on in anyone's life. If I was always late, it's ok. But usually I am the one sitting there waiting for whenever they make me. So my time today was not nice at all. Sorry for the people who work there with that "manager"; perhaps she should do some more training.Service: Hairstyling

I don't know anything about what the other reviewer said. I have seen Susan twice now. Both times for a style cut. Very happy indeed. I think I have found my new "forever hairdresser". The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the massage before you see the hairdresser is soooooooo good, but doesn't last anywhere near long enough!
Waited over an hour to get a trim with multiple people being seated and served before me. Very disappointing experience, ended up walking out.
Mark & Nick are my go toos they are on top of their game and will only go to either or. Through the roof recommendation! Customer service top notch aswell!

I went to Sublime because on a number of times l sat outside on the bench and watched one of the male stylists cut hair. I thought that he seemed to know how ro cut hair well. Went in and enquired about him and found out his name was Mark and that he was there best male cutter. Booked an appointment, then went to it. On arrival they gave me a massage, nice surprise. I showed Mark what I wanted, he proceeded to do it. Was 3/4 of the way through my haircut when he was informed his next appointment was waiting. He then rushed through the remainder, didn't bother to blend it well. I told him so. He made a bit of an attempt to do so. He then just left me . I'm a hairdresser myself and I can't believe what happened. It's a pity that they don't spend more time on the hair rather than the massage. Very dissatisfied. Won't go back there again.
3 times I've asked Mark to cut the front of my hair short, and 3 times he hasn't listened. The back is great, but I hate the front long and unlayered. On my most recent visit, he appeared to run out of time to finish the top, making up some story about how I should leave the top long and wear it forward. I absolutely hate it, and will go elsewhere and get the cut I have been asking for for far too long. And no I don't want to call you to discuss it
