The netball umpiring at the centre is absolute rubbish. I’ve watched several games including the finals and believe the umpires are putting the players at significant risk of serious injury due to not picking up the contact. I appreciate that umpiring is not easy, however as a B Badge umpire myself I couldn’t believe what was not being picked up during the game. Basic contact and obstruction to the point I felt the umpiring was biased towards a particular team. I witnessed excessive contact leading to injury, holding, obstruction that was not being picked up.nThe centre needs to employ suitably qualified umpires
I am very blessed to be able to go to the Hamersley Community centre to have physio exercises. This is organised for me by Community Physiotherapy. I was very happy to do the exercises although I was unable to last for an hour. I need to get fitter as it will help me to enjoy my life more. Also to help me not to have so many falls. Good luck to those who are disabled exercises will make a big difference.
I have only visited the Stirling Leisure Centre in Hamersley once and my experience was a good one. This is why I have only given it 3 stars. The staff there were friendly and helpful and the amenities clean and tidy. I will mention that it wasn't a busy day, but I would return on any day of the week as I had a good experience.
