Excellent medical centre. The doctors are very experienced and knowledgeable and take time to explain everything very clearly. Service level is very good. Receptionists friendly too. It is close to the Stephensons Road shops and there is plenty of parking next to the centre. Absolutely no issues. Recommended!
GPs and medical centres used to be places where you go to when you unexpectedly as is usually the case fall ill or get sick; cold, flu, whatever. However, many GPs and medical centres, including this one, have settled into the convenience of looking after "long in advance booked patients" only. It surely makes things easier for GPs and medical centres. You got sick, unplanned, unscheduled? Too bad. You will be turned away and advised to go to hospital or even call an ambulance, wasting such resources and taking them away from the people who really are experiencing life-threatening symptoms. Fair enough if you have to wait for a little bit and doctors can't see see you straight away. That's understandable. But to turn away people in principle, not to be there for people and patients when they need you, that's sad and unprofessional. Well organised medical centres set aside at least one doctor per day for patients who require immediate treatment. If you are looking for a medical centre you can rely on when you suddenly need help, this place is not for you.
Dr. Michael is one of the best GP's I've seen here in Melbourne. He listens to you, takes you seriously and doesn't do any of that " You're fine, stop being dramatic " BS that you get from other GP's who bulk bill. If you're in the area, definitely call and ask to be seen by him.
It is disappointing that they do not take in anymore new patients. Google reviews are irrelevant since they do not accept new customers.
The best medical centre in Melbourne! You won't find friendlier or more professional service. Good parking options and doctors speak Mandarin in addition to English
Reception put wrong bank BSB details, confusing why simply consultant can cost $90? lots of better medical centres around this area, not recommended
