This is such a wonderful local medical centre! They always fit you in for an appointment even when they are very busy. People at the reception are lovely and all the doctors are great. We have been seeing Dr Abey for the past 4 years and he's always been very kind, patient and his diagnoses are very accurate.
Worst place I have been to. Doctor Abey is great, but the time management is so poor. Even if you ring before you arrive they will make sure you would at least wait for at least an hour before seeing the patient.
Worst practice i have ever been to. The doctor didn’t want to listen to my concern but just wanted to put his point on me.Take panadol, Like come on, listen to my concern atleast. People, don’t waste your time going to these people.
Services provided by the doctors are fine, however the waiting times are ridiculous! I made an appointment at 1.10pm and I had to wait for more than 50 mins to see the doctor. The administration should come up with a plan to advise the patients if there are any delays, and have to understand that time is valuable for the patients!
Dr. Abey saved my father. I really appreciate his quality service. Its 40K away from us but we goes to see him as he never disappoint us. Only problem is securing an appointment but sometimes he take us in-between appointments also. 5+
Practice never answer phone, rude male doctor I saw a few weeks ago. Clients are your customers - treating them disrespectfully isn't on. Find another doctor that respects your health
Visited the doctor Abey Gunaratne for my entire family. Though it is charged through Medicare, it has been charged @ 75.05 though the medicare schedule fee is only 36.30. I was assuming this is only for first visit, however for the follow up visit, we have been charged more than $50. Though the service has been good, why would the doctor charge long consultation fee for a normal consultation. I feel this is incorrect to charge long consultation fee for a normal consultation.
We been visiting this Doctor for more than 5 years. Dr Abey is our family doctor. All the Other Doctors are Amazing too. Well done to the entire team. You provide Great medical services to the people. Hats off..
Dr Abey is terrific. Been caring for our son since his 18 months when we moved into the neighborhood. Still visit him and prefer him as our family GP though we moved out of the area. Hard to get hold off him especially during weekends but it's worth the wait.
Dr. Vindya Madawala is shocking! Always end up getting her as my doctor. She googles all the answers to our questions and can't even write the correct prescriptions for me. Never has an answer to our problems and usually gets one of the other doctors to see us anyway because she can't figure out any of our issues. Went there last time because I only needed a prescription and she managed to get that wrong as well. The reception staff and other doctors are friendly and knowledgeable however.
