Have used Stain Busters to clean carpets at two different locations several times. Always do a brilliant job and turn up on time. Price is always excellent too. They were the ONLY carpet cleaning service in Canberra recommended by my estate agents, and now I know why.

I had John advise me on the best course of action after the carpets in my rental home were trashed by the last tenants. John was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very understanding. They guy really knows his stuff and makes every effort to do things properly, even meeting his staff at the property to make sure they carried out the specialised treatment correctly. He has gone above and beyond. I very much recommend Stain Busters.

As others have described, I'd avoid. Find another bigger and more reliable company. I just had an appointment whereby the guy came unshaven and rude. Appointment was for 1:30pm and he must have arrived a bit early. As I went out to check at around 1:20p, he saw me, rolled his eyes and waved his hand as if I was extremely late. He then made a remark with a rude tone saying if I was sleeping or not. Funnily, he never bothered calling me or ringing the bell a few more times. I glared at him and said, it was 1:30 wasn't it. He said it was and then told me to have a good day and drove off. What an experience!!! That's a few hundred dollars he missed out on and will never earn again. But the biggest problem was how unreliable this company was with my time. Avoid.

We had really bad stains on our carpets and our real estate agent suggested Stain Busters. I was extremely skeptical whether it would work but we gave it a go. Stain Busters was careful to explain that with woollen carpets and especially if the natural fibre has been destroyed their product may not work. They came and treated the carpet at first and there was little improvement. I rang Stain Busters and explained that it didnt quite work and they agreed to come back and treat the carpet again for no extra charge. John worked hard on the carpet and our carpet is looking as good as new now. I cannot recommend this company and its product highly enough. They are true professionals and live up to their name.

Had Stainbusters Canberra come for an end of lease carpet clean as they seemed to have good reviews (should've done more research, my own fault). The guy seemed friendly enough and did the job as requested, however, did not provide any further details (eg. how long it takes to dry etc.). Also, the invoice clearly states that if you are not happy with the job, they will happily return to re-do until you are satisfied. My real estate agent rang them to re-do a small area and they flat out refused. Ended up having to pay even more for a higher recommended cleaner to re-do. Would not recommened or use again.
