Dealing with Werribee STA has been nothing but loss for my family and I. One of the agents was extremely dishonest and charged us price that was not PROMISED to us on the website. LIED and told us the website had incorrect prices and was not live and cheated money out of us. Store manager we dealt with was unapologetic and uncaring since of course, it wasn't his money. STA werribee don't even deserve 1 star, they don't care the customer, they only care about your money. Even if they made the mistake and charged you incorrectly, they won't offer a refund for their fraudulent contracts. There was no closure for us as to why we were treated this way which is the worst part. We've bought tickets from this branch before with a wonderful experience which was the reason why we returned. Biggest mistake we made.

My experience dealing with STA Werribee to plan my Euro Trip has been quite horrible. Staff are not experienced, probably due to them not having been to Europe... It would have been nice to be allocated an Agent who has actually traveled to Europe... Now I'm dealing with re-arranging due to ill-informed advice. I also find that it takes a week or so to receive a response to my emails, which would not be ideal if I am requiring assistance while o/s. The main focus of staff seems to be to sell tours and make their commission. If all you need to do is book a tour a highly recommend booking directly through the tour company. Once STA has sold you the product they don't care about you, and you can't contact Tour Company directly because you must now go through your Agent (who doesn't care about you). If you are needing advice on anything more advanced than prices of flights and tours you won't find any help here.

I went to STA Travel to get information on planing a trip to Japan later in the year. The travel agent Fraser was extremely helpful and informative on the place of interests over there. He gave me a range of quotes from different airlines to travel with on my planned dates. He even broke down and explained STA Travel's travel insurance options without being forceful. Really great service! I plan to use them again in the future.
