I have 3 children at St James and they love the school. I can only speak highly about it, my children have all developed academically, and socially they have grown into young caring leaders. It's a great school.
I have had extensive experience corresponding with this school. I am grateful for the other parents who have stepped up and spoken up about what really goes on at this school. Please, if you are considering or thinking about sending your child here re consider or speak to parents about their experience. I cannot stress more clearly how serious I am about this. I hope this review helps at least one other family.
I still have a grudge against my grandmother to this day as she forced me into this school when i had the right to have many other options as my father would have wanted and there is no way in hell i would ever send my kids to this school let alone other people's kids if i had custody..
Only went there for the early voting and it was well organised. Was in and out within 3 minutes after casting my vote and parking was easy to find right next to the entrance. You need to enter from Hartley Street, off Boundary and then turn right at Gloucester to find the voting centre. Cheers.
This is a fantastic school. Very inclusive and supportive of students. Fair and just approach to all interaction at the school and a student centred focus. Have two children at St James and could not be happier.
This school is the best environment i studied in. St James is a family, it brings people from across the world together. Teachers are wonderful, they make sure they dont overload you with too much and take time to understand you better making sure your keeping the pace. Lots of subjects, sports and activities that keeps the school entertaining during all seasons. Unfortunetly i moved to another country, but i hope one day ill be back at Jimmies. I wasnt the best student but they treated me equally
My son did 1.5 years here and he loved this school so much. Its a small school right next to Brisbane CBD but it is the most diverse school where everyone respects everyone regardless of varying and unique cultural background. If you want your child to grow up to be a respectful, accepting of other cultures understanding that the world is a global village, you should send your child here. My son was taught certificate courses while still doing mainstream school and because of that, he was able to find part time employment while doing Uni pathway program and is able to pay his rent bills while studying. Thanks to St James College. 10/5 rating
St James College is a wonderful school in my opinion, it is filled with wonderful teachers and students, the warm and gentle atmosphere as you enter the gates is also good. As of right now I am attending the school, the school is diverse in culture and background, it doesn't matter what race or culture you are as you will always find a place at St James. I would recommend parents with children to send your children to this wonderful school.
We attended the open night last night and it well surpassed our expectations. This beautiful, innovative and progressive highschool is impressive in every way, beginning with staff and leadership. 2 thumbs up!
this school claims to have a 0 bullying policy but when students go to the teachers for help they are either sent to the principal, teacher favours the bully’s side or they get threatened with detention for making stuff up once again favouring the favourites student this is a disgusting school and it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing
