Do not go here. One of the worst experiences I have had with a doctors office. Turned up to my appointment, had a negative test result but wasnt allowed in to see the doctor, even after competing there stupid sms form stating my symptoms. Script wasn't organized for my partner to pick up on the day, which was an inhaler for my breathing issue as I'm asthmatic and recently had covid. Made another appointment for later that day to find out what happened and get it sorted, no one called me! Ended up at the hospital. I felt completely neglected! Isn't there some doctors code in place to help others? Still haven't recieved a phone call or email in return with an apology. No wonder why this practice is changing hands and all new staff are coming in, I really hope they can regain the confidence the locals have lost in this medical practice. Extremely dissapointed!
Booked an appointment for my partner via Healthengine to get her blood pressure checked. A txt message received 30 mins before the appointment stating the appointment has been moved to Telehealth. Then no show at the Telehealth appointment. I would have gone to another Doctor and waited as a walk in if I had know the Doctor was planning to put my life at risk. I tried calling the clinic, no answer. I can see a lot of bad reviews and it's common practice to no show by the medical staff and moving appointments to Telehealth at the last minute. I will be reporting this to medical practice board as this is too risky for patients looking medical assistance.
When we moved in langwarrin 2 years ago. My wife was pregnant and this doctor here scared us so much that our baby had this and that etc And when we asked what is the problem he couldn’t explain what is the problem and kept asking for more tests. Then, even when we stopped going they send me a message that he got result of my wife’s tests which we never had. When I called reception they said you have make a booking to know what it is about just take make money. Alhamdulillah thanks to God, my son is 22 months and never ever had any problem at all. Now you can’t say that you don’t know me.
Absolutely the worst medical practise I have EVER been to. I have book 5 different appointments with this clinic in the last 2 weeks only to have all 5 TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS to be a no show by the doctor. I’m tried if this clinic messing people about.
This practise is a disgrace, in fact Dr Andraos is a fraud. After nearly 5 years as a patient after booking an appointment, I have received a text message saying Im not welcome at the practise anymore. Apparently Im aggressive, which is a complete lie. Dr Andraos has continued to push the experimental covid vaccine on me, even though he can not tell me how my blood pressure tablets will react to the vaccine, he told me it will be 2 to 3 years before we know. Now because I wont take it he has banned me from the practise. How any supposed doctor can push an un-proven medical experiment on anyone without knowing the possible impacts is malpractice, he is a fraud. Visit this practise at your peril, it all about revenue generation not patient care!
DO NOT GO HERE! I don't often leave reviews but this was one of the rudest and most unprofessional doctors I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to. They were late, there was poor communication from their administration staff and I was asked the same questions multiple times. I wasted so much time filling in the patient information sheet after already providing this information over the phone only to have most of my appointment taken up by him asking me irrelevant questions about my family medical history. When I finally explained my situation to him he spoke over me the entire time and didn't take the time to listen to what I had to say. Then rudely lectured me on how I should respond without fully understanding my situation. One of the most emotionally unintelligent people I have ever spoken with. It baffles me that this person can call themselves a medical professional. Didn't help me at all. I highly recommend you boycott this horrible clinic and take your business elsewhere!
Absolute waste of my time . Pathetic . Giving one star because Google won’t let me give zero. Today I left work early for the purpose of seeing the doctor for a minor ailment . While I was on my way, I got a phone call from the receptionist telling me that the consultation would be via FaceTime . Due to the specific complaint I wanted to see him about, I tried to explain that a video consult wouldn’t really work, but she wouldn’t listen. I wouldn’t have bothered if I had have known the consultation would have been via FaceTime, however I had already left work early for the day so thought I might as well attend . When I arrived I waited in the car park for over 30 minutes before the ‘consultation’ begun, only for him to totally dismiss me. Absolute waste of my time . Avoid at all costs . Update: the following day I went to a different doctor one who was actually willing to meet with me face to face, who said I had an ear infection, which of course was not diagnosed in my 90 second FaceTime consultation at St Augustine’s .
I had a really bad experience here today! I waited for almost 2 hours in my car for an appointment only to be sent home. I had body pains after my booster and I wanted a sick certificate. After an hour of waiting, I went back to the receptionist and was informed the doctor is just running late. After 40 mins.. I went back inside and I was told the doctor tried to ring me but there was no missed call at all. I received no call since I arrived in the clinic. I told the receptionist about my situation and she said said to me " well.. the doctor tried to call you there is nothing I can do." They know I'm waiting outside. I sat there for almost 2 hours just for nothing! It's frustrating. Update: I posted this initially with 1 star because of what happened but they called me after I got home and given me a sick certificate.
I feel compelled to write this review in support for the St Augustine Family Medical Centre. My wife & l have both been receiving the ongoing medical guidance we needed for last 2 years. We were looking for a long term doctor we could settle with & stop moving around with clinic's, because of convenience & we have definitely made the right decision. We both have adjusted our lifestyles, including dietary intake as recommended by the doctor via a care plan tailored to suit us. It's been a slow process over the last 2 years to change our ways, but one we both needed to take for current & future health. We have always found the doctor friendly, warm & welcoming upon entry for every consultation. We feel he is genuinely focused & attentive to our needs throughout all our consultations. The doctor goes above and beyond to help you achieve the best way or solutions forward to achieve your health goals. Also, he is prepared to advise or make the appropriate arrangements to help keep medication costs to a bear minimum, of which is greatly appreciated. Also the clinical staff at St Augustine Family Medical Centre all deserve recognition for the high level of service & the way they treat their patients, us included. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the doctor & clinic at St Augustine Family Medical Centre.
Can’t Fault! The who family has attend here for quite some time. Dr Andraos is thorough and professional and has helped both achieve and resolve all health issues we have presented with. Kind and gentle with our young daughter also. Five stars.
