I keep telling myself, I'll never shop there again, yet today, I needed something quick. I have encountered, rudeness and lack of help there in the past. Today, all I wanted was a couple of curtain rods and some sheer fabric to cover a 160mm window. Three staff on checkout when I arrived, NONE to be seen inside the store. I quickly secured what I needed in the window accessory section and removed the bolt of fabric from the stand and put it on the cutting table. One young girl 'appeared' and SLOWLY served another customer. Hubby & I were standing there waiting. Another guy walked up to the desk as she was finishing up and off she went to 'help him' at the back of the store. We stood there like shags on a rock waiting....and waiting. Finally, she came back and I asked for the fabric to be cut at 1 & 1/2 times the width of the 160mm window. EASY RIGHT?? She didn't have a clue! She asked twice, how much to cut?? She was about to delve into a CALCULATOR to work it out! We had to tell her how much 1 & 1/2 times 160mm was! Don't they train the staff there in basic maths??? We were over 25min in a non busy store on a SATURDAY afternoon and the staff could not work out a simple equation. Definitely won't be going back to 'the stains' any time soon. disgusting! I'll travel to the next one before I go back there that's for sure.

Just had two gentlemen to install our curtains, they were so very polite & very helpful.nA job well done & very much appreciated.nWill order again from Spotlight for another area of our house.
Store is completely unorganised. Setting up a holiday let and was looking for 4 x matching of a few items., Nothing is in the same place, was not going to spend the entire day searching the store to find 4 x the same items.
Had a small issue with a gift card, fantastic manager sorted things out for me instantly. Good store and location too, highly recommend
