Decent food with reasonable price. Would come back again to try more variety.
Very friendly service, generous serving, honest and delicious food.
We are regulars here, good authentic Sichuan food and good value!
I frequented Spicy Template today and I had a fairly good experience. Parking arrangements on the outside make it easy to go in and have something to eat. The staff don't speak any English at all, that's true, but they try to give you the menu on a digital tablet and you can press on the items that you want to order, it's not as bad as it seems. The seating arrangements are good, and on the inside the restaurant it's actually quite cosy. The food came out in a timely manner and it was well prepared, we ordered ribs and fried rice. Everything was fine, there were no major complaints, it's pretty intensely Chinese so some food will be really difficult to get used to, but at the same time there is loads of good food here that anyone can eat too. The staff try to accommodate, however sometimes you need to pull up Google translator and show them what you're trying to say, like ice for your tea or extra soy sauce etc... The lady got annoyed when I brought her my drink, she thought I wanted another one, but in fact I just wanted ice, she finally got it and we rolled on. The prices were alright, they honestly aren't too bad for what you're getting. You are weighing up really nice seating with quality of food here, I was very comfortable at this restaurant. I would recommend it, but there is a language barrier, it's not too bad, most people can deal with it - or should be able to.
Very average restaurant . Restaurant is way too “simple” for Australian standard. No separate utensils for raw and cooked food we are hot pot . No ladle provided. No plates for dips. for hot pot Air con off - so slightly cold , bearable with jacket though . Waiters and waitress are nice and young but too few of them . I feel sorry for them . Owners - i don’t think I will go back just because I had great difficulty picking up the food from the hot pot with the little spoons and chopsticks ! Impossible !
Every time I walk past this place, I always see the barramundi in TERRIBLE conditions!!! The two upsidedown were BARLEY alive gasping and with swim bladder DISEASE and MANY other ISSUES, the other at the back was DEAD with a creyfish eating it. Absolutely disgusting and sad to see. Will never eat here. So off putting, couldn't imagine how the food is kept in their fridges too if they can't keep a fish well! Get rid of the tank if you don't want to look after it. NO THANK YOU!
Good selection of authentic Chinese food with lots of tasty flavours. Usually no waiting required for seating. Personal favourites are the spicy fish fillet in chilli bath, and cauliflower with smoked pork.
Good mini hot pot with reasonable price, normal topping as other hotpot places. Accepts cards with surcharge and add on $2 for sauce each person. Variety of dipping sauces but limited of side dishes.
Do not go for hotpot “buffet”..Half the trays are empty and there’s cockroaches crawling around you while you eat on the floor and on the walls around the booths. Family business that don’t speak English and when asked about refilling the trays, will give you attitude.
Staff don't speak English. ****Unbelievable**** Just catering for a certain nationality? Food was good but not what we wanted due to the communication gap. This is Australia. 2 for the restaurant. 0 for the Government who should ensure that migrants speak English before they are granted a visa. I am a migrant. The experience should have been more enjoyable if the language barrier was removed.
