Getting the lunch box is a staple when I visit Hurstvillle. Beans, eggplant and fried chicken is my favourite combo. Is a bit on the salty side. Soup & tea is $1 extra when you buy a lunch box. You can ask for tea with no sugar. My order is iced black tea no sugar.
I usually eat at the Hurstville Westfield branch but occasionally I visit this branch of the other is closed. I really enjoy the eggplant that they serve. However, the quality of the dishes can be a bit of a hit or miss. Price has gone up slightly in the recent past but still remains good value if you also get a drink with your meal.
The chicken and rice is quite good but the rest is a little bland and the food is very expensive
Tasty, good variety of choices, fresh, and good price. Most of the times have queue so good indication for crowd pleaser.
Says open till 8, went at 7, closed shop Food variety is pretty good, but overall VERY salty
Great food and drinks, at a good price. Definitely would recommend.
