Had a picnic while we were on a visit to Canberra. Kids enjoyed playing while adults chilled on the grassland.

i do soccer training here it is very well managed but the grass has lots of bumps in it

Nicely planned roads/ car parking. Good for kids school events. there was just enough car spaces for drop off pick up of my student for school oz tag. it was a bit of a walk from car park so if you are not able to walk very far i recommend coming early so you can get a closer parking space

Quiet lakeside park between the Kingston Shores and the Australian National Gallery. I like this place because it has good parking, toilets, BBQ and extensive well kept lush lawns good for picnicking. Most of the time you'll see swans floating by and ducks scavenging. Take the kids they will love it.

Best Fields to play all types of sports on. In Summer on Monday nights is Touch Footy. Close by is a Set of Netball courts and Hockey Feilds. So got the variety for Soccor.. Touch rugby.. Rugby Union. Rugby League.. Ultimate Frisbee n cricket.
