We picked up a Silver Ford Mondeo last week with this company; they were incredibly helpful in attaining the car and how the process works, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, they were on time, very efficient and thorough, explained everything to us in detail so we understood everything, made sure to ask if we had any questions if we didn't quite understand anything, or if it wasn't covered, gave us details on warranty and how it works, I genuinely couldn't be happier, I would highly recommend, and I would definitely use this company again, well worth the very early morning trip from London! Please do not trust this place. Got a car from here back in Feb and had nothing but trouble, then it had a blown head gasket which was like it when the car was purchased. Ford Focus NV63 JWZ This car was put back up for sale 1-2 days after it got recovered, it needed a new engine. No way it was fixed in that time. After that i test drove a car to make sure it was ok and yet again, that car was broken with a leaking coolant. DO NOT TRUST!

I bought Vauxhall Mokka which badly failed after 4 months and less than 2000 miles driving. Dealer was made an attempt to fix it but it failed with the same fault. They were unable to inform me what they made in order to fix it. At the moment we having radio silence and broken car on car park and excuses to avoid any further repairs. I had to contact Finance Provider to reject a car and will be looking for refund for faulty car. Avoid if you can.

Having recently passed my test, I was looking for my first car, I saw my focus advertised and went for a test drive. I bought the car, and was promised new mats and a new parcel shelf as the existing shelf was damaged. Not 3 days following the purchase, the vehicle began to overheat, I had to pull over into a local fast food restaurant and wait before topping up the coolant, which was completely empty. I called southern autos to let them know and I was assured that this was a mistake and the mechanic would be spoken to. I chased for the mats and the shelf and was told they were on order. Over the following few weeks I noticed the coolant continuously going down, but I couldn’t see any obvious signs as to where it was escaping, a few days later I realised coolant was escaping into the drivers footwell. I called them again, reminding them that not only had they not honoured their promise in regards to the mats and the shelf, but now there appears to be a leak. They told me to bring the car back to be looked at, and that it would be covered by the used car warranty. I received a phone call from the receptionist who told me the car was ready to collect, I asked what the issue was and was told a ‘sensor’ had been replaced, this confused me as I believed the problem to be with the heater matrix, she called the mechanic and when I asked if this was replaced I was told ‘yes, that sounds about right’. I took the car and was assured that I would be sent a receipt for the work that was done. The mats had also been sorted, but they were for a different model and don’t fit properly, also no parcel shelf to date, and now Hendy Cosham have confirmed that the heater matrix needs replacing and this will cost me £1300. I would offer a warning to anyone thinking about buying a car from these people, DONT DO IT. They will take advantage and lie to you . A temporary fix was put in for this car with the dealer clearly knowing full well what was wrong with the car from start to finish.
Don’t understand some of the other reviews at all. I have just purchased my 3rd car from here and its always a pleasant experience. Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond to please their customers. They sourced my exact car in as I wanted something specific and within a week, it was on it’s way in to them! Car is amazing, runs smooth, immaculate. Brand new MOT and service so no worries for a year, couldn’t be happier and will continue to be a loyal customer. Don’t hesitate a visit here!
