I don't know why all the negative reviews but my experience at Sonic Health plus Dandenong branch this morning was a good one. The clinic was clean and the reception was welcoming. I was booked for a Drug & Alcohol Test and Stef was friendly and attended to my inquiry right away. She even thanked me for fulfilling the online questionnaires.. Jean who handled my tests was also nice, patient and clear on her instructions. All in all, the process was quick and I was happy with the service and happier that my results were fine. Thank you Sonic HealthPlus!
Fantastic service, speedy and very professionalnEspecially Faye Knight who was saw me through the process from start to finish. Wish service was like this everywhere.
Not really sure why this clinic has such a low rating because I had a great experience. I booked my medical assessment over the phone once the Covid restrictions were lifted my initial appointment was cancelled due to the Stage 4 lockdown. I was contacted a few days in advance to confirm my appointment with no issues. I arrived there just before opening and people were already lining up so make sure you get there with enough time before your scheduled appointment time! Proper social distancing was followed in the clinic with chairs spaced out in the lobby. They ask you to put in a new mask and sanitise, so make sure you don’t have too much in your hands upon entry. There were a few documents to fill out while in the waiting room standard name, DOB, address etc.. I waited about 20-25 minutes to see the nurse and doctor. All examinations went well and smooth, everyone I came into contact with was friendly and welcoming. There are about 15 parking spots on the premises, and the rest would have to be on street, no issues. I would definitely recommend this clinic for visa medical appointments.
I was directed to see GP here for work cover from my company’s injury hotline service. The GP tried to push me to go back to work rather than taking time for me to recover properly. Didnt believe what i said because i look fine? Do you know how annoying to get injured at work? It’s not fair to be treated this way.nEvery time I had to wait more than an hour from my appointment time and without any notice. Some receptionist were unprofessional. Before i even asked she answered that the doctor is with patient and you will be the next and i’ve got this impression that just don’t ask and wait for your turn. I felt that’s not professional at all.nDoctor doesn’t care about the appointment time. They don’t care who came first or late. Receptionists just keep putting patients on top of whoever came. Did you do this to me on purpose because i was late for 5min?? So some patient lucky to see GP early or some patient like me waited for hours. Appointment can be delayed.. but not mixing up the appointments!! No explanation no apology. Just someone’s fault, didnt know my file was at the bottom. All excuses! I have been very patience.. not anymore. My time is valuable as much as yours. I have so much work to do! This is not the first time. I waited more than hours and left not seeing anyone TWICE!! Such a wasting time to come here. If i had a choice i wouldn’t come here. It’s not worth going there. I am going to send formal complaint about the service here to my work injury service hotline. The good thing was physio therapist was good. That’s the only good side of coming in here…
