My father came to Smithton Hospital this week for an emergency health matter, and they were quick and efficient at assessing him and arranging for him to be transported to Burnie Hospital for more treatment.

Staff at reception as well as nurses and doctors were competent and friendly, wait time was minimal, hospital clean and quiet. Unfortunately couldn't do an x-ray at the time, only available on Tuesday and Friday before 2PM, but it is lucky just to have a country hospital nearby.

Please make your final prayers before going in and seeing Dr. Freeman in emergency. Extremely rude and devoid of bedside mannerism. You go in with a physical sickness and come back with a mental health issue.

You should the hospital out if your name became you are nothing of the sought. Can't even be treated at the emergency department because no one answers the door or phone. Ridiculous

Would be better off driving to Hobart would get served quicker. Ridiculous
