Travelled from Launceston to Burnie for my son had his tonsils removed on the 16th of April. From the nurses on the paediatric ward to the surgeons, doctors and nurses in theatre were nothing short of amazing. They did everything possible to keep my son comfortable pre and post surgery. They joked with him to keep him smiling and they were always happy to help no matter how many times he rang the nurse bell for something to eat. They were at his beck and call. Special shout out to his main nurse Emma, she’s the type of person I want to care for my children every time they’re in hospital. Made sure she explained everything thoroughly so I understood what was happening. 10/10 amazingly perfect experience all around. They definitely know how to treat children even when they’re unsure of the new and scary environment they’re in.
They will accuse you of being drunk or on drugs no matter the situation, multiple times my friends have gone in and one instance myself, all with the same result.nnThey will blatantly refuse care and will do a horrible job just based on appearance alone.nnHospital staff will put children on the breatho just based on a hunch and when results come back 0.00 they blame drugs.. wish we could sue for malpractice
Absolutely amazing care provided by the nwrh team. Jon triage nurse took the most amazing care of us, provided us with updates on wait times, explained what was happening really well, and even got my daughter a juice and bikkies. Thankyou Jon for your amazing attitude towards your work and the people you care for.
worlds worst hospital! the nurses and doctors don't give a shit about you unless you have private health care! they just treat you like garbage
Once we found Imed our fault, they were very good and helpful for my wife. The cafe was pretty good too.
