The one star is not for the product purchased but for the service rendered. I was at the loading bay with my daughter to collect a Queen size mattress, we were to load this onto the back of a truck cab. The assistant who sold it to me was only small, I'm in my late 60's and so we asked the young man Luke, in the loading bay to help us, of whom I expected he was there for that reason. His reply was NO!!! Eventually when he realised that there was no other way to load this he did so very resentfully. Not a good attitude and enough to make me NOT want to shop with Smiths City again. My question is; Smiths City who do you usually have loading heavy goods if it is not easily done so by the purchaser. This is not good service!

I purchased some products last week and picked them up from the back door the boys were extremely helpful there were a couple who helped me put my washer and fridge onto my truck they were very well presented and very helpful :)

I do know what jo chester is on about because i had great service from the guys in the back aswell as the sales staff. I suppose that is why they offer delivery of your stuff as opposed to collecting the items yourself and the hassle that comes with it , remember they do tell you to bring someone to help lift your stuff if you chose not to get it delivered. Anyway great service had a bed delivered and the guys set up for me and took all the rubbish and i also collected a tv from the back.
