Dr Sarah Sutton has one of the WORST bedside manners known in any health clinic I’ve been too. Very arrogant and dismissive. Asked questions on behalf of my distressed family member who had a broken tooth and she shut me down completely. Not professional at all and will never be back again. Other staff are friendly and supportive.
I went to this dental clinic in late 2018, for my daughter's cavity filling. they started the filing , with out informing and when I asked what are the options and other details they weren't not very helpful, instead the ask me to choose between 2 options metallic and simple filling while they were already performing the filing , with out giving any details and differences, I had no knowledge what so ever no consultation was given , even though i was charged in full for everything. not recommended by me
Jason was an absolute gem and fixed a filling for me on short notice that was causing distress, amazing service and level of care
Dr ken is incredible. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to anything dental. From the get go he was so understanding and patient with me and made me feel so comfortable. I ask alot of questions, and he always answers them and helps wducate me on how to look after the treatment that ive had done. I had fillings today, and used happy gas *AMAZING!!!* I did not feel a thing and even though i was under he still told me when to expect certain feelings/noises. Highly HIGHLY recommend him and smart dental!
Excellent practice and lovely staff and dentists. I have been coming to Smart Dental for over 5 years now and will continue to see them for a very long time. The staff are really friendly and always smiling. I usually hate the dentist, but they make it such an enjoyable experience every single time.
My family and I have been going to Smart Dental since it opened more than 10 years ago and always find the staff polite, friendly and courteous. Shirley has done such a great job looking after my family's dental needs. The ladies on reception are always friendly and accommodating. Thanks Smart Dental.
Been years since I have been able to pluck the courage to visit a dentist. So very pleased that I ended up choosing Smart Dental and had the privilege to be sitting in Dr Shirley's chair. No judgement, no fuss she made my experience so easy. Thank you so much to everyone involved with my recent visit. See you again very soon.
My experience with Jason and the team has been nothing but the best at all times! Jason even meeting me at the surgery on a weekend out of hours when my little 3 yr old had knocked his front tooth out. Since then we have been best mates of the surgery and the receptionists over the years. My son is now 18 yrs old and has knocked his front teeth out 3 times! Wesley has done one lot and Jason 3 times! - The best work, done friendly, no pain, and the best equipment and technology used at all times! My partner wanted to rip his tooth out with pliers also one weekend and I got him painkillers and an appointment ASAP on the next day Monday - Jason came in earlier 6:30am to fit him in. Robert now has the best teeth he has had in his life and loves the partial that Jason replaced to look more natural and sharp to eat steak. I refer everyone I know there. I rate these guys THE BEST DENTISTS EVER !!!
This is a excellent team, Jason is across all the latest technology and the front office staff go out of there way to help. Every visit is painless from both angles. I had my teeth fixed on many occasions by Jason with excellent results for years 10/10 for dental skills 10/10 for dental technology 10/10 for service with a smile My favourite dentist, I refer Jason's team to all my friends.
I had my appointment today with Dr Sarah Sutton, and overall I got a sense of blandness, like as if she was only there to perform the one task at hand which was a filling. All other questions were very vaguely answered with no sense of empathy. I felt like the entire interaction was driven by money, of course once i book an appointment for a clean and check up then she can answer my questions in full. I was charged $380 for a filling, the problem is reception wont even give you an indicative range for filling cost so they kind of trap you in. I was charged $35 for a photo of the cavity which was used to show me the tooth? I knew there was a cavity that is why I came to you. I never asked for that photo nor did the doctor require it to do her job. I will never go there again nor will I recommend it to anyone. Take the time to research a few other places before going there.
