The Hills Medical & Dental Centre

This Medical Centre is a one stop shop. Treatment room's, Doctor's, nurse's, X-ray, radiology, physiotherapy, Pyschologist, dental and an on-site Chemist that gives you a $5 off coupon on the script if you come back for repeat. The Doctor's range from absolutely fantastic and caring, to downright rude with very little bedside manner and poor English skills. The receptionists also vary from downright rude and your a burden for being there and very polished, polite and helpful. It's like anywhere there's always good and bad but overall this place definitely deserves four star's.

Went here with extreme pain in my rib cage knowing there was something definitely not right! I was on the verge of tears the pain was so bad, the doctor I saw proceeded to shove me in the rib cage, telling me if she could do that.. they weren't broken! Unsurprisingly, the pain worsened, forcing me to visit another doctors surgery, where I was diagnosed with 3 broken ribs.. Don't think I'll be going back here anytime soon.

The lovely reception staff is where the service stops - I am absolutely appalled by the negligence of the doctors here. This has been my second unsatisfactory visit, and it is safe to say I will not be returning again. After running a 7km obstacle race through mud and farmland, I began to develop what I thought were tonsillitis symptoms, along with a spotty rash on my hands and feet. I went to Dr Jamal Danishyar, who vaguely looked at my throat, told me "it doesn't look too bad" and brushed me off with a prescription of generic antibiotics without even bothering to confirm nor deny my suspicions with an actual diagnosis. I asked him about the rash on my hands but he barely glanced at them, telling me that it wasn't a related issue and to come back if the antibiotics didn't work. Today, I have just come back from visiting another practice, where the doctor actually bothered to listen to my symptoms and took the time to carefully survey them. I, in fact, do NOT have tonsillitis, but foot and mouth disease, which is caused by a number of factors including a low immune system and contact with germs - which I would have contracted from the obstacle race. The only thing he has prescribed is plenty of rest and fluids, and to stop taking the antibiotics immediately because they weren't helping the situation at all. The fact that I would have been better off not seeing a doctor at all and waiting it out, rather than seeing Dr Danishyar who brushed me off with a prescription for antibiotics before actually checking that I needed them, makes me extremely furious. It chills me to think what would happen if he treats patients with more serious illnesses with the same carelessness as he did with me. I sincerely hope that future customers will take the time to read this and think twice before coming here.

It's a shame as most of the Doctors at this practice are fine. However Dr Singh is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I've had two experiences with him, today he refused to assist me stating ''What do you want me to do about it?'', and i had to argue back and fourth with him for about five minutes before he took me '' seriously'' he then refused to vaccinate me stating that it ''wasn't his problem'' and that I didn't need my shots. He also took a personal phone call with his mother during the appointment and afterwards stated that '' you don't need to get your Hep shots, just take a blood test when you can to make sure you haven't contracted it yet'' He outright refused to vaccinate me or assist me with it, stated that my heath wasn't his responsibility and argued, talked over me, cut me off and talked down to me the entire time. Last year I had an appointment with him where he didn't let me finish telling him what the issue was, he talked over me and told me that it was nothing and wasn't his problem. I then went to another practice the same day and was told I had a very bad chest infection. After discussion with other people I've discovered I'm not the only person who has had such big problems with him. He has refused to help/ dismissed other patience as well. his unprofessional and out right rude attitude towards patience has greatly tainted the facility.

I've always had great experiences here I can't believe the poor ratings on here. The staff are friendly I'm.never waiting long and I get all.the assistance I need.
