It's not the hero we wanted, but the hero we got. In place of a good rail system, the skybus works perfectly fine. Quick, easy, free WiFi, bag space, usually enough seats.nnFriendly staff, convenient times. It works

Melbourne airport to southern cross station. It’s easy to use. Return tickets are more cheap than one way ticket. There are a lot of lockers for travelers.

Had a overall good experience. There was a long queue when I arrived at the terminal. But it took only 10 minutes to get into a bus and start the ride to the airport. Best and cheapest way to get to the airport if you’re travelling alone. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Bus service from Southern Cross station to Melbourne airport. Only way to get to and from the airport apart from taxis etc. Tickets can be easily purchased at the many kiosk available. Buses are clean and well maintained. However I feel that the prices for the tickets are way too high. If travelling with more than 2 people you may be better off catching a uber.
