At SkinSmart we endeavour to provide Medical Expertise using State of the Art Equipment offering personalised service.

Dr Bruce Williamson has spent 20 years working in primary care skin cancer medicine and cosmetic skin rejuvination. He opened the Balgowlah Skin Cancer Clinic in 2000 and over time developed an interest in Laser and Cosmetic Medicine, building his skills after buying his first Medical Laser seven years ago.

Dr Williamson attained his medical degree from the University of Sydney in 1988 where he graduated with honours. He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology in 1999 and has undergone further training in dermatological surgery and completed many courses in cosmetic facial rejuvination procedures. He has recently set up a new clinic in Balgowlah.

I’ve been going to Dr Bruce for about 20 years and I’ve never ever been disappointed. Alison, and Bruce are a husband and wife team and I’m so grateful for their expertise and caring, kind and interested bedside manners. I’d recommend Skinsmart!
Bruce was the only doctor that successfully treated my keloid scarring that caused me grief and pain for many years, have seen him over the past 10 years for laser hair removal and fillers aswel he can do it all. Really is the best in the business and himself and his wife Allison are always happy and uplifting and is always pleasant visit look forward to seeing the team again soon in the new year!! Thanks guys
Came here on the recommendation of my dentist to get Botox injection in my jaw muscles as I grind my teeth. Dr was very quick and efficient, 5 injections with very small needles in each side and it was done. Need to repeat in 3 months then should hopefully be sorted. Better than headaches and worn teeth from jaw clenching!
Bruce and Alison are amazing at what they do! And make me feel very welcome and comfortable too! I come here for hair laser removal and to treat my red acne scaring and I have been very impressed with the results. Would highly recommend!
I've been to SkinSmart Medical more than a dozen times now and I've left every visit more than satisfied. Dr. Williamson, Alison and Cassie are all lovely, professional and amiable. Bruce knows his craft, takes his time and is very thorough. I've learned a lot through him simply because he accommodates all my questions and potential concerns. He also has great bedside manner! They run an excellent practice and I will remain a regular. Parking is just behind the building or directly on the main road depending on the time of the day. Thanks for your work!
SkinSmart Medical are a highly professional and very experienced clinic offering the latest treatments for all skin concerns. The team of Dr Bruce, Alison and Cass make you feel extremely welcome, calm and confident in their individual abilities and go over and beyond to ensure a very positive experience and most importantly the outcome you are wanting to achieve. From the moment I arrived and was warmly greeted by the beautiful Cass, who is a fantastic testament to Dr Bruce's skill, through the entire procedure where Alison or Dr Bruce are always making sure I am comfortable, my appointments have been exceptional with results I am extremely happy with. My skin is looking refreshed and radiant, even though I am a young 57! While I accept I will never look 21 again, I would like to look my best at this age. To achieve optimum results I have chosen a combination of treatments which have given me a natural, not "done" look with clearer, smoother, glowing and healthy looking skin. The clinic is modern and located in a quiet area of Balgowlah which backs onto a carpark, making it ideal for a quick getaway without having to walk through a shopping centre looking a little worse for wear! There are products to purchase at Reception, but no hard sell and Dr Bruce has created his own formulations with the strongest scientific evidence based actives, that work as they should and aren't over the top cost wise. This is a team I trust to take excellent care of me!
NOT HAPPY! My product was sent back to sender, 3 weeks later I asked for a refund as they hadn’t done so even though they had received the product and didn’t bother to follow up it on until I called. I asked for a refund as I didn’t receive the product and they charged me $10 out of the refund and didn’t refund me my full amount. Not happy, do not order through here!
